Components

Digital technology and updatable algorithms compensate for ground and soil effects, resulting in optimum sensitivity in all types of soil, including laterite and magnetite.

Distinctive detection signal free of unwanted tones.

Dependable sensitivity independent of ambient temperature and battery condition.

The lightweight, reliable, ergonomic configuration provides the operator comfort throughout sustained use.

Simple sensitivity setting and discrimination control.

Built-in test circuitry monitors all essential system parameters, provides appropriate warnings and renders the equipment inoperable in the event of failure.

Applications

Building on the heritage of the AN/19-2, the ATMID™ is Schiebel’s latest and most advanced mine detection system, designed to meet the rigorous requirements of humanitarian and military operations.

Over and above standard mine detection systems, the ATMID™ is highly sensitive in all soils and particularly effective in the mineralized soils that are often found in mine-affected countries.

Climatic variations do not affect its performance and it can even work under water to a depth of up to 2 meters.
